The Bloomfield Public Library policy is to allow a minor's parent or guardian to determine what materials and access will be available to that minor and no person employed by or acting on behalf of library shall knowingly grant access to a minor to any material in any form not approved by that minor's parent or guardian. Patron's that are over 18 and live in Bloomfield City limits will be allowed to check out materials available without cost. Patron's living outside of Bloomfield city limits must pay a $10 per year fee. It must be understood that library staff does not have supervisory control over children. It is solely the responsibility or the parent or legal guardian to monitor what their child veiws.
